Dr. Christine Wilkinson is a conservation scientist, carnivore ecologist, and science communicator at the California Academy of Sciences and University of California, Santa Cruz. Her research is focused on human-wildlife interactions, environmental justice, and carnivore movement through human-dominated landscapes in Kenya and California. In this talk, Dr. Wilkinson will discuss and demonstrate tools (i.e., camera traps, collars, participatory mapping) from her work on spotted hyenas, coyotes, and human-carnivore coexistence.
