Lucas Meers serves as the Director of the Jacksonville University Sea Turtle Program at the Marine Science Research Institute in Jacksonville, Florida. For over 15 years, he has monitored sea turtle nesting trends and distribution in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida with Mickler’s Landing Turtle Patrol.
