Roma Agrawal is a structural engineer, author and presenter who is best known for working on the design of The Shard in London, Western Europe’s tallest tower. She’s designed bridges, skyscrapers and sculptures with signature architects over het fourteen year career. She spent 6 years working on The Shard, designing the foundations and the iconic ‘Spire’ that has become a landmark along the London’s River Thames. Roma is passionate about promoting engineering and technical careers to young people, particularly those from minoritized groups, and has won international awards for her technical prowess and for her advocacy for the profession.
