Vincent Doumeizel is the vice president, food, beverage and sustainability for the food programme for Lloyd’s Register Foundation as well as editor of Seaweed Revolution: A Manifesto for a Sustainable Future. With 20 years’ experience in the food industry, he is now also senior advisor on oceans at United Nations Global Compact. Vincent leads the charitable objectives of the foundation through the funding of innovative projects to drive safety in the food supply chain. Vincent is now co-leading the first international platform for seaweed stakeholders, the Safe Seaweed Coalition. He is also a member of the expert panel, working to define the algae strategy at the European Commission and supporting the preparation of the UN Food System Summit in fall of 2021.
