Description

The Intelligence of Plants with Dr. Lauren Erland

Join Lauren and dive into the world of plants, just how smart are they? We often ignore plants and pay way more attention to the animals we see around us. There’s a lot more going on with plants than meets the eye…it’s just at a different time scale!

Dr. Lauren Erland is an Assistant Professor, Canada Research Chair in Berry Horticulture and Explorer’s Club Term Member based at the University of the Fraser Valley in Chilliwack, BC, Canada. Lauren studies how plant perceive and respond to changes in their environments, through the language of plant hormones. You can keep in touch and follow along with BERRi research at www.berrilab.com or on social media @plantdrlauren.
