On the west coast of the island portion of the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, along the Great Northern Peninsula, lies a small peninsula with 6000 known years of human history- a crossroads of various native North American and European cultures. Join us on that peninsula at Parks Canada’s special protected area Port au Choix National Historic Site near the community of Port au Choix to explore how the area’s rich marine resources, wild game and abundant flora, have drawn these people to these shores since forever!
