Join Dr. Pamela Fletcher and Martin Castellon from the Fabien Cousteau Ocean Learning Center along with team members from the Nicaragua Sea Turtle Project. We’ll see a demonstration of how they relocate sea turtle nests to the hatchery and how they tag adult sea turtles on the beach. To date they’ve relocated over 100,000 eggs and have a well over 90% success rate of hatching and releasing the young turtles. Don’t miss this chance to see how effective community conservation efforts can be!
