Description

Parks Canada BC Series

March 2nd - 5th 2026

Join us for exciting virtual education programs, live from Fort Langley and the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Sites, Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites, Gulf Islands National Park Reserve and Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. Each program shares a unique story and will give you a look behind the scenes at these amazing places with Parks Canada experts. These fun and interactive presentations explore a variety of topics including wildlife conservation, ecosystems, history, protecting at-risk species and more!

March 2nd @ 1:00pm eastern

From weaving nets to weighing cans, Coastal BC’s traditional salmon trade would not exist without the skills, knowledge, and labour of women. Join Parks Canada as we honour the stories and contributions of women at Fort Langley and the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Sites.

2 mars @ 2:00pm eastern

March 3rd @ 1:00pm eastern

From keeping the lighthouse bright to joining the fight, women have played an important role in safe-guarding BC’s coast for generations. Join Parks Canada as we honour the stories and contributions of women at Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites.

3 mars @ 2:00pm eastern

March 4th @ 1:00pm eastern

Among the whales of the Pacific Northwest, every calf learns from the adults who nurture and guide them—much like how human children grow with support from their families and communities. Join Parks Canada to learn more about how whales grow and play in the waters of Gulf Islands National Park Reserve.

4 mars @ 2:00pm eastern

March 5th @ 1:00pm eastern

In coastal wolf packs, every pup learns from the adults who nurture and guide them—much like how human children grow with support from their families and communities. Join Parks Canada to learn more about how coastal wolves grow and play in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve.

5 mars @ 2:00pm eastern
