Live on the Beach with Elephant Seals in California

Join us live on the beach in the Año Nuevo Coast Preserve in California to learn about the elephant seals that call these beaches home at different times throughout the year. By attaching electronic instruments to seals, Assistant Professor and Explorers Club 50 honoree Roxanne Beltran and her team explore predator-prey interactions in the open ocean, and their implications for ocean health. They’ll join us as we look for elephant seals and learn about their incredible lives!
