Explorer and storm chaser George Kourounis has recently returned from east Antarctica, the Magnetic South Pole, and the French Southern & Antarctic Islands… Some of the least-visited places on Earth. He’ll share his experiences and talk about some of the threats facing the penguins, seabirds, and whales that call this remote part of our planet home. He’ll also showcase some of the conservation efforts that have been making significant progress in helping these animals.
