Join Mark K. Ellis, Education Director at the Polynesian Voyaging Society, for an engaging virtual presentation on the Navigator’s Mindset. Students will explore how traditional Polynesian wayfinders crossed the Pacific by making thousands of observations, hundreds of choices, and two critical decisions each day at sunrise and sunset. Through stories of Hōkūleʻa and Polynesian voyaging, Mark will inspire students to think critically, make informed decisions, and apply the Navigator’s Mindset to leadership, problem-solving, and everyday life.
