Debarati is a post doctoral fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory and a member of the NASA’s Mars Science Laboratory team. Her current research deals with analysis of data from the Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) instrument on the Curiosity Martian rover and study of Martian analogue sites (sites on Earth similar to Mars environments) to better understand past water activity in Gale crater on Mars.
