Darwin200: Sailing Across The Pacific

Description

Darwin200: Sailing Across The Pacific

The Oosterschelde has left Christchurch, New Zealand and is sailing for 7 weeks, nonstop, across the Pacific Ocean! These are the roughest waters on the planet, so it’s sure to be an adventure!

In this week’s episode of the World’s Most Exciting Classroom:

-We’ll have a live connection from the ship.

-National Geographic Explore Joe Cutler will join us live. He studies aquatic biodiversity in Africa and just returned from an epic expedition in Zambia and Angola, travelling thousands of kilometres by dug out canoe facing hippos, lions and more!

-We’ll have a Darwin Leader join us to share their experience working in the field with one of our conservation projects.
