Meet Lwando Baleni, a Seabird Ranger based on Dyer Island. He spends 3 weeks each month living alone on the island, conducting patrols and collecting data. The island is a protected seabird sanctuary and home to ~900 pairs of endangered African penguins and thousands of other seabirds.
