Meet Andrew Digby, he’s a conservation biologist at the Department of Conservation in New Zealand. He’s part of a team working to protect the Kākāpō, a ground-dwelling, flightless, nocturnal parrot, the heaviest in the world. Invasive species pushed them to the edge of extinction and they remain critically endangered today, with 244 individuals left.
