Naturalist Stewart McPherson takes us on a whirlwind tour of the 14 British Overseas Territories. These incredible locations span the glove, stretching across the oceans and pole to pole. The are also home to an incredible wealth of biodiversity and endemic species!

Dig Deeper: Use the internet to try and identity each of the British Overseas Territories based on one clue below:

– This island is home to the Jonathan an almost 200 year old tortoise.

– This island is the site of the southern most battle ever fought.

– This island was once known as Alliouagana, which means Land of the Prickly Bush.

– Made up of 3 main islands, it was uninhabited when discovered by Christopher Columbus on his 4th voyage to the Americas.
