Meet Laura Simone Lewis, she’s a biological anthropologist and comparative psychologist who explores how humans and other great apes have evolved to form, maintain, and deepen our social relationships. She’s a UC President’s Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Psychology at UC Berkeley. Recently she was visiting Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Uganda, studying chimpanzees interest in observing social interactions.
