Meet Abhilash Ramachandran and Peter James Icalia Gann, they’re conducting experiments to learn if rice can grow in martian soil. So far they’ve experimented with different levels of martian soil and potting mix as well as genetically modified seeds to cope with the perchlorates which are found in soil on Mars.
