Meet Tamar Gutnick is an animal behaviour researcher who was on the team to first record brainwaves in an octopus. They are a great study animals as they have a large brain, an amazingly unique body, and advanced cognitive abilities that have developed completely differently from those of vertebrates.

Dig Deeper: Octopuses have many ‘super powers’ that help them survive. Can you find the survival super powers of the mimic octopus, the coconut octopus and the blue-ringed octopus?
