Meet Andrew Moore, he’s a paleontologist and assistant professor at New York’s Stony Brook University, looking at Mamenchisaurus sinocanadorum, discovered in 1987 in China, and their 49.5 foot neck!

Dig Deeper: Mamenchisaurus sinocanadorum isn’t the only sauropod with a really long neck! Find three other species of dinosaurs that had really long necks. Along with really long necks came really long tails, why did the tails have to be so long?
