Daily Dive # 004 | Searching for Meteorites in Antarctica

Meet Maria Valdes, a Research Scientist at Chicago’s Field Museum of Natural History and the University of Chicago in the United States. She recently returned from an expedition to Antarctica, using snowmobiles to hunt for meteorites on the barren, white landscape. They found several, including a rare 17 pound specimen!
