Crossing Greenland with Monet Izabeth

Description

Crossing Greenland with Monet Izabeth

What does it take to become a polar explorer? Monet Izabeth has spent the past two years figuring that out. In May 2024, Monet spent 30 days skiing across the Greenland ice cap, pulling everything she needed to survive in a sled behind her. She and her team faced 60 mph winds, blinding snowstorms and Arctic temperatures in their quest to reach the coast of East Greenland. This expedition was a crucial step in her training to ski solo to the South Pole, which she aims to complete at the end of 2025.
