Gina Doyle is a scientist and former teacher based in St. John’s, NL. She has pursued her lifelong love of the ocean through a series of marine based hobbies and jobs, from building underwater robots and learning to scuba dive, to conducting oceanographic research around Newfoundland and Labrador. She has worked for Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) in a variety of roles, mostly recently helping shape the future of Canada’s new research vessels.
