Ruthmery Pillco Huarcaya is a Peruvian wildlife ecologist and National Geographic Explorer. She leads conservation programs for the Andean bear and cloud forests in Peru, combining research, community engagement, and restoration efforts. With over 12 years of experience, she also collaborates on the protection of endangered tree species in Costa Rica.
