Maria is an ethnobotanist and National Geographic Explorer who works with people and plants throughout the globe. She will be talking about projects she’s been a part of in different parts of the world, focusing on the Amazon, Africa and Tibet. We all use plants, and from these examples we can look at how we use plants in our own lives wherever we live.
