The National Geographic Pristine Seas team will be completing a science and media expedition to the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) in October/November 2023 in partnership with Blue Prosperity Micronesia (BPM), FSM national, state and local governments, the University of Guam, and the Scripps Institute of Oceanography.
The Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) is composed of 607 small islands (65 inhabited) which span across 1,700 miles of the Pacific Ocean and are divided into four states: Kosrae, Pohnpei, Chuuk, and Yap.
