SUMMARY:Celebrate with James Ketchell Live From the Atlantic Ocean
DESCRIPTION:In July\, British adventurer\, James Ketchell set sail from Gosport\, England on an ocean adventure of nine months and 30\,000 nautical miles. James was setting out to achieve his third circumnavigation of the globe and become the first person in history to do so via air\, sea and land. He has already cycled around the world and was the first person to fly a gyrocopter around the world. \nNow he is in the Atlantic Ocean and closing in on his starting point in the UK. Join in for a catch up on this incredible sailing journey around the world and check out some photos and stories\, live from his sailboat as he nears the end of his third circling of our planet! \nThe aim of the project is to connect with classrooms around the world\, live from the boat. He will be sharing stories of fun\, adventure and educational content\, as well as inspiring young people to pursue their own goals and dreams. Join in as James has just left Cape Town\, South Africa and is beginning the long sail across the Indian Ocean to Australia.

SUMMARY:Around the Americas: Closing the Journey
DESCRIPTION:Join the 2025/26 Around the Americas Expedition team one more time from the ocean\, for an inspiring classroom experience as they “close the loop” on their extraordinary journey around North and South America. \nAfter thousands of miles at sea\, months of gathering ocean data\, meeting coastal communities\, and witnessing the beauty and challenges of our marine world\, the crew is returning with stories that can spark a new generation of ocean stewards. \nIn this special live lesson\, the team will be deploying their last micro swift buoy and sharing their reflections on the expedition’s highs and lows\, the scientific discoveries that surprised them\, and the real-world impacts they’ve seen from climate change\, and shifting marine ecosystems. Students will hear firsthand what it feels like to navigate powerful currents\, collaborate with researchers across the hemisphere\, and live each day with the ocean as their constant companion. \nMost importantly\, the crew will highlight the meaningful actions young people can take right now—small steps that collectively create big change for our planet’s future. From field science to citizen initiatives\, from coastal care to creative advocacy\, they’ll offer concrete ways for students to use their voices\, curiosity\, and passion to protect our shared ocean. \nThis is more than a recap of a voyage—it’s an invitation to join a movement. \nWelcome aboard\, future ocean stewards.

SUMMARY:Pioneers of the Possible: Sunniva Sorby Live From Arctic Svalbard
DESCRIPTION:Take one last virtual field trip this school year and join Polar Explorer Sunniva Sorby\, live from Arctic Svalbard! \nWe’re ending the 2025–2026 school year the way it should end – somewhere extraordinary. \nJoin Sunniva Sørby live from the deck of the Ocean Explorer in Svalbard\, Norway\, as she wraps up this season of Pioneers of the Possible with a few surprise guests from the expedition team on board. \nWho will they be? You’ll have to show up to find out. \nThis is the Arctic. Expect the unexpected. \nOver the course of her career\, Sunniva has journeyed to some of the most remote and awe-inspiring places on Earth—from Antarctica’s icy expanses to the fragile ecosystems of the Arctic. For more than three decades\, I’ve lived and led at the edges of the Earth—skiing to the South Pole\, overwintering for 19 months in the Arctic\, and collecting data as a citizen scientist while storms shook the cabin walls.
